Doc R Dolittle Dts Kickass Full Subtitles Watch Online 4k 1080

Doctor Dolittle is a 1967 American musical comedy film directed by Richard Fleischer, and starring Rex Harrison as Doctor John Dolittle, who talks to animals. The screenplay by Leslie Bricusse was adapted from the 1920 children's novel by Hugh Lofting. The film was the second of three Hollywood films produced simultaneously and released in 1967, all based on stories published in 1923: Doctor Dolittle (based on Lofting's book), Tarka the Otter (based on Henry Williamson's 1937 book), and Moment to Moment (a 20th Century Fox release). In this version of the story, Dr. John Dolittle meets Nurse Jane Farrow at Africa while he studies elephants. When he returns to England, he is not welcomed with open arms due to his unusual ways with animals. Upon his return to England, Dolittle is not welcomed with open arms by Sir Hubert and Sir Archibald (the latter looking like a walrus). He is forced into the public eye when he is called upon to treat a dying newborn elephant whose mother died that morning. The baby's mother's health has not recovered enough for them to try an operation, but Dolittle does it successfully by using his elephantine "ears" (he uses the same trick on Hortense in "Tarka the Otter"). Dolittle next treats a dying whale who has been damaged by a whaling ship. Dolittle uses his knowledge of animals to cure the whale by moving him to a different ocean. Shortly afterward, Dolittle is invited to "The New York Hippodrome" for performing elephants, and he bustles around the studio, whistling and carrying on with his usual antics. There he meets Nurse Jane Farrow, who has been hired to take care of the elephants. Dolittle is attracted to her. Dolittle performs many acts of kindness with the zoo's animals, but he can't kiss Dolores (the elephant with whom he was romantically involved in the novel) because she is his patient. A jealous Hortense also makes it difficult for him to talk to her. After Dolittle treats a wounded doe, the zookeepers tell him that they love Dolores and want her to be their mother. They say that she will be okay and they will take care of her in case they can't find a mother for their other baby elephants; however, Dolores dies before any of them can be moved. In the final scene Dolittle performs a song about hope, in which he states that people in the past have been less optimistic. The film is significant as it marked a departure in style for Fleischer, who was known for his work in television and television films. The film was filmed on location at Wembley Stadium and Twickenham Stadium in London. The musical numbers, score and songs were written by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley with music supervision by David Shire. In 1993, it received a VHS release from Embassy Home Entertainment under the title "Doctor Dolittle Laughs Out Loud". 9cfa1e7782021
